Oatmeal Cookie Protein Smoothie

We love smoothies in our house- especially this Oatmeal Cookie Protein Smoothie! I (K here!) have made smoothies as a post workout treat (or I guess you could call it a second breakfast) for as long as I can remember! I have made MANY smoothie concoctions in my time and this oatmeal cookie protein smoothie is one of my absolute favorites. It’s a little different and semi unexpected for a smoothie and I love that!

Kemps

When Kemps asked us to partner with them to promote their milk, it was an easy yes for us. Kemps is a Midwest-based, farmer owned business that focuses on the family. We love their mission and we drink milk and we drink milk a fair amount in our house. Many families are dairy-free these days and use all kinds of alternatives for their milk. There’s oat milk, coconut milk, almond milk, etc. I love that we have so many great options for milk alternatives now for those who are lactose intolerant or vegan. But we have always just been a ‘cow’s milk’ family.

Like I said, when Kemps reached out, it was easy to create a recipe with MILK, something our family enjoys regularly. So, I thought it would be a great time to share this smoothie and like all my smoothies, it includes, you guessed it… milk!

My go to smoothie has always been some sort of variation of peanut butter, banana, and chocolate protein powder. I love this combo, but sometimes you need to switch it up a bit! This Oatmeal Cookie Protein Smoothie is just that – something a little different. It still tastes like such a treat and it’s great as a breakfast on the go or post workout! Ok, let us know if you try it. I think you’re going to be surprised at how much it actually tastes like an oatmeal cookie! And if you’re looking for other quick and easy breakfast ideas, check out these!
