For those of you who are new here, I (Katie) bought a little fixer-upper lake house last fall and we have been busy little bees working on fixing it up. We hired some of the work out (flooing and drywall) and have been slowly working on it ourselves between work, kids, youth sports and living two hours away. The bathrooms are done, so here they are! We knew we didn’t want grout to clean, but we also didn’t want vinyl or wood. What we wanted was LVT, but whimsical (yes, my new favorite and very overused word) is VERY hard to come by. Enter @allure_flooring . We used Allure Ultima Blue Agave Terrazzo Click Lock 22mil Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring upstairs and Allure Ultima Sweet Peach Terrazzo Click Lock 22mil Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring downstairs. I know this flooring isn’t for everyone, but it’s for me! I love anything that different, fun, and has an old/vintage/retro feel. I LOVE that it’s 100% Waterproof, pet friendly, scratch-resistant and perfect for any high-traffic areas.

Turns out renovating an entire house is like A LOT of time, work, energy and money. We’ve decided not to touch our bedroom, the kitchen, or the downstairs bunkroom for a while. We are getting a little burnt out and want to just enjoy the lake this summer. Stay tuned for updates on the upstairs living room, downstairs living room, eating area, and guest bedroom soon. We are getting to the end of those! I am ABSOLUELY NOT an interior designer, but I have had fun with this! I decided to decorate in a way that just makes me happy.

I got this t-shirt (under $15!!) in last week in a few colors and was so impressed by the quality and how well it washed up! I put it on and it was an immediate yes.
