Gluten-free Apple Crisp
This apple crisp has just the right amount of sweetness and has a crumbly topping that is so simple and free of refined flour and sugar!

- 3 cups apples (thinly sliced) You can use any fruit or combination of fruit you have on hand. Mixed berries are really good too.
- 3/4 cup oats (gf)
- 1/2 cup almond flour You could sub oat flour.
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar You could sub brown sugar.
- 1/4 cup butter/ghee You could sub coconut oil.
- 1 tsp arrowroot powder You could sub corn starch.
- 2 tsp cinnamon (divided in half)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray the bottom of your baking dish(es) with oil.
In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced apples with the arrowroot and half of the cinnamon.
Pour into the bottom of the baking dish(es). Divide evenly if making mini crisps.
In the same bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
Stir in the remaining ingredients. Oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, and 1 tsp. cinnamon.
Once everything is mixed, spread on top of the apples.
Bake for about 20-30 minutes unil apples are soft.
Enjoy with ice cream or whipped topping!
