Katie here! Many years ago, I had a personal blog where I would document our family life, create free printables, share heathy recipes, DIY/craft projects, and cakes I decorated. I didn’t monetize it or try to make it a business like Melissa and I are doing now with M&K, but if I look back at it, it was when I realized creating and sharing was what I was made to do. It truly brings me so much joy.
It so interesting how you look back at life and realize that every single thing you did, every life decision you made, was part of getting you ready for something bigger. It’s so cool when you think about it! I could look back at my first blog as my fist ‘failed attempt’ at blogging, but it is really my jumping off point.
That brings me to this free easter printable that we created on April 1st, 2015 – YES, 7 years ago! I made this little free easter printable paper pouch that I put jelly beans in and had Ellis plant on Easter Eve. I ran out on Easter morning, collected the jelly beans, pitched them over the fence in the back (you are welcome, squirrels) and put lollipops in their place. PURE MAGIC! 😉
